Case Construction Equipment

Case Construction Equipment, also referred to as Case CE or simply Case, is a manufacturer of construction equipment. At this time, Case is the third biggest player in the industry, only trailing Caterpillar and Komatsu.

Case can stake claim to being one of the oldest companies in the heavy machinery industry. The company’s roots can be traced all the way back to 1842; this is when Jerome Case founded the J I Case Company. Even though things have changed over the past 150 years, Jerome Case is still credited with being the first American to create a steam engine that was acceptable for agricultural use.

In 1999, Case Corporation merged with New Holland to form CNH Global. Despite the fact Case Corporation no longer exists, the two brands of the original company are still alive: Case Construction Equipment and Case International Harvester.

Case Construction Equipment manufacturers a variety of engineering vehicles in factories all over the world. Some of the countries in which Case has a presence include: United States, Brazil, Germany, Japan, Czech Republic, and Italy.

The most popular products offered by Case include: graders, loaders, loader backhoes, forklifts, wheel loaders, crawler dozers, telescopic handlers, dump trucks, and skid steer loaders.

Since 2000, Case Construction Equipment has released many products which have taken the industry to new heights. In 2005, they made available a 400 series skid steer loader with reliability and productivity features that have never been seen before. In 2005 Case manufactured its 500,000th backhoe/loader. Not only was this a huge accomplishment for the company, but also the industry as a whole.

For more than 150 years Case Construction Equipment has been offering high quality, reliable, and productive products to companies in many industries. Jerome Case had a vision for greatness in the 1800’s, and it continues today.
